A BOOK! BY ME!
Somehow, I managed to collect some of the stories I wrote in the last years, put them in a book and published it myself – all hail the internet!
The little thing is called Stop Coming to My House (which is the title of my favourite Mogwai song), has 100 incredible pages, contains 26 stories and poems from this blog here and Sonic Iceland and many other sources, AND has a super pretty cover designed by the incredible Super-Lik.
If you need a typical book-blurb to convince you to buy it, I have that as well. Even quoting other people who write stuff!
‘Marcel Krueger takes his turn as prince of the quotidian.’ – Kit Fryatt, upstart.ie
‘Not bad.’ Haukur Magnusson, Reykjavik Grapevine
So, if you are interested in purchasing something I’ve written and make me happy, here are your options:
- YOU HAVE A KINDLE.
Perfect. Visit my amazon.com-page here, my UK page here or the German page here and download it.
- YOU DO NOT HAVE A KINDLE BUT WANT AN E-BOOK.
Even better. I have a Smashwords-page that covers all major e-book formats.
- YOU WANT A PRINTED BOOK.
I love you. You now have two options before I marry you: you can either visit my Amazon-page and order it there, OR send me a payment of 6.65 Euro or 8.99 USD (plus postage, depending on where I’m going to send the books) and let me know if you want me to do something special with the book (sign it, draw a picture of my nose, etc.). Do so via the PayPal-button below:
If you happen to live in Dublin and desire to support both a starving artist (me) and one of the best independent bookshops in town, why not head over to The Loft Bookshop on Middle Abbey Street – they sell my book, and also great literature!

I want one. A real one! Signed, and everything. How much’s shipping to your hometown?

I’d like a real one too. With a drawing of Dublin’s best pub or café or with the best joke you heard in Iceland.

Hey Marcel! I want the book, the real one (the printed one).
I am meeting Karol and Giulia at the end of november, maybe you can give it to then? I’ll pay by PP of course.
Aah! You still have a visit pending to Barcelona…

@ stiller and Noemi: if you pay via PayPal shipping to Europe (Germany/spain) is covered, so it’s 11.50 € altogether and I’ll scribble sth nice AND Noemi will have it before the end of November, hehe.
@ Martin: tomorrow.

seems like Martin is the lucky one with the shortest delivery route.
Mr. Krüger, I’m counting on your mad drawing skillz and I wouldn’t scoff at a nice poem, either.
Looking forward to this!
